Old Gunwale Punch
It was a request from The Drink, a great cocktail bar that was in Brooklyn (but is now closed) to make a cranberry bitter for this cocktail that launched what is now our New England Spiced Cranberry!
The Cocktail
  1. In a punchbowl, combine all ingredients. Chill with a large block of ice. Serve in ice-filled glasses.
The Syrup
  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and let simmer for three minutes. Cool. If you have loose dried chamomile flowers, use two tablespoons.
